Islamic foundations for a happy marriage II

3.Forgetfulness If you're constantly reminding your wife or husband for all those times we were injured or caused us any anxiety, it means that we have not really forgiven. The things that happened in the past should be left behind and not to be used as arguments to new disputes. Couples who are constantly falling in these practices, often end up transforming them into a habit and become victims of their own selfishness and unable to free him. 4.Patience As-sabr (patience) is the most valuable tool to keep a balanced life and good. Being patient and kind to put us in a state of mind and spirit that makes us come closer to Allah Ta'ala through tawakkul (entrust to Allah) and our confidence in Him Patience is an internal mechanism that gives us the power to deal with the difficulties of life. As Allah Ta'ala says in Surah Al-'Asr: "By the Time. Surely mankind is in perdition. Except those who believe, which work well and enjoin truth and patience." 5.Flexibility Many couples become unhappy because they are not able to bend a little. We should not expect your wife or husband is an extension of us. They are special, with their personalities, likes and things that do not like. We must respect their right to be themselves as long as this does not compromise their religion. Be inflexible and unable to adjust our individual differences leads to a tense home atmosphere and very stressful. 6.Friendship This aspect of marriage has three elements: The first is to develop a friendship with our spouse. A relationship based on friendship is better able to resist external pressures. We honor, trust, respect and care for our friends, despite our differences. It is these aspects of friendship that we bring to our marriage. Unfortunately, the only aspect that people think of taking your marriage is the camaraderie, attitude which is very inconvenient. The Shariah (Islamic law) has placed the husband in a leadership role within the family, and this requires a certain composure that could not be maintained if the spouses consider each other as comrades. This should not be understood as the husband is a dictator but as a pastor who is responsible for a herd. This is a position of great responsibility and carries a huge burden on the husband. Moreover, children should see their parents as friends, but not as comrades and partners, and that this encourages disrespect. A second aspect of friendship is to have friendly relations with in-laws. When couples compete about which relatives are most important, then it generates a constant source of suffering. Much valuable time is wasted trying to convince each other about who are the relatives most important ones. It's much better if we accept that our husband or wife is not going to fall in love with our kindred of the overnight just because we want to do so. While we maintain friendly relations, cordial and mutual respect will not be necessary to force the issue further. The third aspect or element is our circle of friends. It is OK that spouses have their own friends if they are of the same sex, but couples should make an effort to have friends in the family so they can make social life together and avoid the friendships between the sexes. If friction is caused by some kind of friendship should not continue with it at the expense of marriage. The Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) advised us to seek Allah-fearing people to make friends, because we feel inclined to be like them. Friends should be a source of amusement and disgust. 7.Fun
Couples who do not laugh together should strive to find common moments of fun. It is known that the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu "alaihi wasallam) used to play with their wives. A simple stroll in the park can deliver much light on the relationship. Also we should practice a sport together.

Nasa warns solar flares from 'huge space storm' will cause devastation

Britain could face widespread power blackouts and be left without critical communication signals for long periods of time, after the earth is hit by a once-in-a-generation “space storm”, Nasa has warned. National power grids could overheat and air travel severely disrupted while electronic items, navigation devices and major satellites could stop working after the Sun reaches its maximum power in a few years. Senior space agency scientists believe the Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from solar flares after the Sun wakes “from a deep slumber” sometime around 2013, The Daily Telegraph can disclose. In a new warning, Nasa said the super storm would hit like “a bolt of lightning” and could cause catastrophic consequences for the world’s health, emergency services and national security unless precautions are taken. Scientists believe it could damage everything from emergency services’ systems, hospital equipment, banking systems and air traffic control devices, through to “everyday” items such as home computers, iPods and Sat Navs. Due to humans’ heavy reliance on electronic devices, which are sensitive to magnetic energy, the storm could leave a multi-billion pound damage bill and “potentially devastating” problems for governments. “We know it is coming but we don’t know how bad it is going to be,” Dr Richard Fisher, the director of Nasa's Heliophysics division, said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. “It will disrupt communication devices such as satellites and car navigations, air travel, the banking system, our computers, everything that is electronic. It will cause major problems for the world. “Large areas will be without electricity power and to repair that damage will be hard as that takes time.” Dr Fisher added: “Systems will just not work. The flares change the magnetic field on the earth that is rapid and like a lightning bolt. That is the solar affect.” A “space weather” conference in Washington DC last week, attended by Nasa scientists, policy-makers, researchers and government officials, was told of similar warnings. While scientists have previously told of the dangers of the storm, Dr Fisher’s comments are the most comprehensive warnings from Nasa to date.Dr Fisher, 69, said the storm, which will cause the Sun to reach temperatures of more than 10,000 F (5500C), occurred only a few times over a person’s life.Every 22 years the Sun’s magnetic energy cycle peaks while the number of sun spots – or flares – hits a maximum level every 11 years. Dr Fisher, a Nasa scientist for 20 years, said these two events would combine in 2013 to produce huge levels of radiation. He said large swathes of the world could face being without power for several months, although he admitted that was unlikely.A more likely scenario was that large areas, including northern Europe and Britain which have “fragile” power grids, would be without power and access to electronic devices for hours, possibly even days. He said preparations were similar to those in a hurricane season, where authorities knew a problem was imminent but did not know how serious it would be.“I think the issue is now that modern society is so dependant on electronics, mobile phones and satellites, much more so than the last time this occurred,” he said. “There is a severe economic impact from this. We take it very seriously. The economic impact could be like a large, major hurricane or storm.” The National Academy of Sciences warned two years ago that power grids, GPS navigation, air travel, financial services and emergency radio communications could “all be knocked out by intense solar activity”. It warned a powerful solar storm could cause “twenty times more economic damage than Hurricane Katrina”. That storm devastated New Orleans in 2005 and left an estimated damage bill of more than $125bn (£85bn).Dr Fisher said precautions could be taken including creating back up systems for hospitals and power grids and allow development on satellite “safe modes”. “If you know that a hazard is coming … and you have time enough to prepare and take precautions, then you can avoid trouble,” he added. His division, a department of the Science Mission Directorate at Nasa headquarters in Washington DC, which investigates the Sun’s influence on the earth, uses dozens of satellites to study the threat. The government has said it was aware of the threat and “contingency plans were in place” to cope with the fall out from such a storm. These included allowing for certain transformers at the edge of the National Grid to be temporarily switched off and to improve voltage levels throughout the network. The National Risk Register, established in 2008 to identify different dangers to Britain, also has “comprehensive” plans on how to handle a complete outage of electricity supplies.

This is what in my opinion a true muslim woman should do, and I would like to invite all who is in this situation of troubles to ask for help and for all who can help because they has the resources to do it then do it we are muslims and is our duty as muslims to help.

There is no doubt that Dubai is an amazing city and one of the most developed but it also has some things wrong, and as a Muslim country this things should be avoided, there are a loooot of women from Dubai posting about their new bag collection, their new swarovski items, etc, etc, but they are never talking unless to complain about the service of other woman from different nationalities that work at their homes as maids, or about the drivers, who comes almost all the time from outside the UAE, and of course they will never talk about the people who build their homes, we are Muslims and as Muslims should care for the people in need and we should give thank god for all what we have and we should Sheere it with those who hasn't,a bit more of humanity is good, and a lot less of luxury and proudness is even better. All different types of investors placed their bets on Dubai becoming the hottest real estate and tourist destination for the new millennium, only to come up short after the financial crisis. Despite the global economic recession, Dubai somehow maintained a reputation for having some promise for novice investors and misinformed entrepreneurs. How was this Arab investment mecca capable of holding its name, despite the obvious rules of recession after-shock? The United Arab of Emirates government took measures to protect the potential of recession recovery by instating a “non-disclosure” law, limiting media to keeping reports of the UAE economy more on the glass-half-full biased. Any negative speculations are punishable by law.

But even if Dubai is a gaudy outlier -- a sort of Donald Trump of a nation -- the bankruptcy of its flagship investment company, Dubai World, holds a warning for others. The nonchalance with which global financial markets have reacted is not reassuring in the least. The lack of alarm is alarming. The UAE Minister for Economy, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri justifies this law by claiming it would be impossible to make any type of accurate forecast based on a country’s economic growth amid a year with such a massive global meltdown. This could be the reason for the unforeseen bankruptcy of Dubai World in November 2009, when they were forced to request a six month delay on the payment of a $26 billion debt. The UAE perseveres, with a GDP growth rate of 21.9 percent spurred by oil production over the last three years. Could the growth rate be more substantial in the future, despite the price per barrel being the lowest ever in five years, or is the Minister correct to say that predictions are impossible at this point. Despite the censoring of economic forecasting, experienced investors are still steering clear of the region’s real estate, after the dramatic plummet of property value last year. Investors are redirecting their aspirations into offshore financial instruments such as the top hybrid funds and hedge funds, favouring the Canadian and USA market. Some of the top hybrid funds include: Bridgewater Associates – http://www.bwater.com/

D.E.
