She added that Egyptian women have a rich history and have proven repeatedly that they are capable of fighting their own battles. She also added that Egyptian women do not need foreign voices to demand their rights for them. Earlier this week, Clinton lambasted the abuse of women during the recent clashes which included the part stripping and brutal beating of a veiled protester, an incident which garnered widespread international attention. "This systematic degradation of Egyptian women dishonours the revolution, disgraces the state and its uniform and is not worthy of a great people," Clinton said in a speech at Georgetown University. "Recent events in Egypt have been particularly shocking. Women are being beaten and humiliated in the same streets where they risked their lives for the revolution only a few short months ago,” she said. On Tuesday, a women’s march protesting the brutal treatment of female protesters, attracted 10,000 women. A number of demonstrators in the Abbasid (cairo) who support the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces that the American intervention in the internal affairs of Egypt, not only serve their own interests, stressing that the U.S. government exercised severe violence and repression against Americans demonstrators , if they threatened the security of the State, in addition to the practice of racism against the Arabs and Muslims. The newspaper "Al-Ahram" ; publiched the question of a girl regarding the comments of Hillary : How do you accuse us of being against human rights if they have the worst forms of violence against humanity in Iraq and Afghanistan and support the Israeli practices against the Palestinian people?! Furthermore, expensive and luxurious wedding parties are prohibited by the Shariah . they fall under the command of the verse. ''But be not extravagant. Verily, He loves not those who are extravagant ” (Surah Al- Anam 7:141) Again, many times it is the women who force their husbands to do such things. They say that so and so’s party they had this and that. However, such gatherings must be according to the Shariah .The person should not spend what is beyond his means. So as you can see, in conclusion, Nail polish as a product is not haram, although some of them are made with not halal ingredients, then those are haram. If you want to use nail polish you can perform ablution first then apply it, but we have seen now how un-practical it will be, I mean, if you lose your ablution for any of the sircunsatance it could be lost, then you will have to take it off and perform ablution again, with 5 prayers every day I really doubt you will keep going with this, and the reward of performing our prayers on time is greatest than colored nails. Why Massage for Poor Body Image? Poor body image is just one of an array of symptoms associated with more serious mental health issues. Amongst others, it has been connected to anxiety, depression, anorexia and bulimia. When professionals look to treat mental health issues, one of the first things they focus on is finding a way of helping someone to feel good. Massage is well known for its ability to make people of all ages feel more relaxed and better about themselves. Hence, researchers started to investigate massage as a way of improving mental health in general and body image in particular. Over the past decade, the research teams world wide have managed to collect some interesting evidence to prove that regular massage can make a significant difference to how you feel about yourself. Here’s a small sample: •Female university students taking part in a controlled experiment relating to the effects of massage on body image reported feeling better about themselves and their bodies after having massage. The control group (who did not receive massage) showed no change in their attitudes. (Bridgewater State University, USA, 2011). •Post-menopausal women taking part in an experiment to examine the effects of massage on abdominal fat, waist circumference and body image received a full body massage once a week and massaged their own abdomens twice a day during the six week experiment. Half the group received massages with grapeseed oil. The other half received an aromatherapy massage with a standardized blend of essential oils. Both groups felt better after the treatment, but the group receiving aromatherapy massage showed significant changes across all areas – body image, waist circumference and abdominal fat. (Department of Nursing, Wonkwang Health Science College, Korea) 2007) •Twice weekly massages were given to women undergoing treatment for anorexia nervosa. As well as reporting lower levels of stress and anxiety, they also commented that they felt less dissatisfied with their bodies during the weeks that they received the massages. Blood tests also revealed lower levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) immediately after massage. Positive attention of this kind will help you to change how you feel about your problem areas. •In between treatments, find ways of focusing on what makes you feel good –being happy more of the time will help to improve how you feel about yourself and your body. •Consider increasing your physical exercise – as well as releasing additional endorphins, regular physical exercise can help your body to feel stronger, more powerful and healthy. •Turn around and nurture others with massage – it’s up to us to ensure that the next generation won’t develop similar hang-ups about their bodies. Regular massage for children helps keep them happy in themselves as well as improving sleep and reducing aggressive tendencies (additional studies carried out at the Touch Institute in Miami).

Kahk is usually prepared during Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, and Christmas. I know some people hate dates, but not me, I love them and even more inside any cookie :)</div> <div> Ingredients 2 cups semolina flour 1 1/2 cups shortening 1 cup boiling water 3/4 cup white sugar 2 cups ground walnuts 1 teaspoon rose water 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting (optional) Preparation Place the semolina flour into a medium bowl, and cut in shortening using a pastry blender or a fork. Pour in boiling water, and mix to form a solid dough. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead for a minute or two to be sure the dough is well blended. Cover dough and let stand for at least one hour, or as long as overnight. In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, ground nuts, and rose water so that the mixture is uniform. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets, or line with parchment paper. Knead dough again briefly, and form into walnut sized balls. Make a hole in the center using your finger. Fill the hole with the nut mixture, and seal the dough up over it. Gently form into balls or crescents, or make designs into the dough using a fork. Place cookies at least 1 inch apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Dust with confectioners sugar while still warm if desired. Tips: Almonds or unsalted pistachios may be used for filling also. If rose water is not available in your area, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon for flavoring. There are many variations for shaping these cookies including rectangles rolled into mini jelly rolls, or shape 3 inch rounds from balls, place filling in the center, and fold the sides over to cover, and seal. </div>

The two faces of Facebook

However, Facebook has now defended the numerous pages that clearly violate these terms by claiming: "Groups that express an opinion on a state, institution, or set of beliefs — even if that opinion is outrageous or offensive to some — do not by themselves violate our policies." Which is strange, because if a page entitled "Roses are red, violets are blue, I've got a knife, get in the van" isn't hateful, threatening or violent, I don't for the life of me know what is. It was back in August that feminists first began to notice the proliferation of pro-rape pages on the popular social networking site. Two months later, more than 176,000 people have signed a US-based petition calling on Facebook to take them down, and nearly 4,000 people have signed a UK-based petition calling for the same. "Just as telling a rude joke won't get you thrown out of your local pub, it won't get you thrown off Facebook." Bitter truth And in some ways they're right: telling a rude joke probably wouldn't get you thrown out of your local pub. I would suggest, however, that propping up your local bar while inciting others to rape your mate's girlfriend "to see if she can put up a fight" would not only get you thrown out, it would get you arrested as well. Still, at least you could log on once you got home and post your offensive comments on Facebook instead — they won't do anything about it. What Facebook and others who defend this pernicious hate speech don't seem to get is that rapists don't rape because they're somehow evil or perverted or in any way particularly different from than the average man in the street: rapists rape because they can. Rapists rape because they know the odds are stacked in their favour, because they know the chances are they'll get away with it. And part of the reason rapists get away with it, time after time after time, is because the UK is a society that all but condones rape. Because it is a society where it's not taken seriously, and where posting heinous comments online that promote sexual violence are not treated as hate speech or as content that threatens women's safety, but are instead treated as a joke and given a free pass. By refusing to take these pages down, and by resorting to such a ridiculous and quite frankly offensive "rude joke" analogy to justify their decision, Facebook executives have made absolutely clear where they stand on the issue of gender-hate crime. It's fine to post hateful or threatening content on their site, just as it's fine to post content that incites violence. Well, as long as it's primarily aimed at women, that is. </div></div>
