We claim to be Muslims, and not just that, we are "Good Muslims" because we do wear hijab, but sadly for more of us, hijab is only a head piece that complement our "Look", why?, Well because we don't even know why we must to do it, and a very important thing How we should wear it?
The New Fashion Trends in Hijab are: "Make your Hijab as a Hair do", Am I wrong?, look at this pics:
The scarf simulates the hair in a pony tale, you also see her neck .The New Fashion Trends in Hijab are: "Make your Hijab as a Hair do", Am I wrong?, look at this pics:
This is like if you have only a bandana with a long and free hair, again we can see the neck.
Having not enough with that and thanks to the new growing of the Arab countries like UEA, the "Fashion" in the Whole world is adopting the "Arab" style, and now Muslims from other countries are trying to imitate the "Look" of those "Rich" (but with the credit card on the limit) women who use to wear a Camel Hump to stylish what they think is a "Hijab".
Khaleeji style which I love but to achieve this look some women use a flower claw clip to simulate again long hair, you can make this pretty style without the need of the clip and only if you need a little bit of volume to balance your head shape with your shoulders and body use an other scarf in the normal way and above this use the shayla, you will have a real look with out the hump of camel.
Turkish style, and I love this colors but I think is toooooo much!
You can have this look with a full under scarf, avoid the fake Bun, and add a bandana (New Bandana collection from Muslim Elegance coming Soon!) and it's done.
Some women also buy some kind of "hats" to create the illusion of having a long hair in a Bun.
Syrian Style is pretty much the same simulating a long hair in a bun.
There is a Hadith that states: Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him) said. "I will not be a witness for two types of people who are destined for the Fire: people with whips, like the tails of cows, who beat the people (ie, tyrannical rulers who are the enemies of their own people), and women who, although clothed, are yet naked, seducing and being seduced, their hair styled like the tilted humps of camels. These will not enter the Garden nor will its fragrance even reach them, although its fragrance reaches a very great distance. (Reported by Muslim).
although there is not yet an agreement on how high this " Hump of Camel" should be, we can quote an other Hadith:
On the authority of Al-Hasan bin Ali, the grandson of the messenger of Allah, who said : I memorized from the messenger of Allah his saying :"Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.At-Tirmidhi
Then if we still don't know how high this can be then why we take the risk and do it?.
I had promised a second part of Hijab; choosing the right one for you, but while I was searching I found this Hadith that made me realise how wrong will I be If I post a Hijab that doesn't follow the "Rules", then I found that the new "Trends" are getting "Higher", the Hijabs now days, are more a "Hair do" than a Hijab.
One of the reason to wear hijab is to cover our hair and we are supposed to not show how long is our hair when wearing hijab, there are women who had even bought accessories that makes the fake look of having a hight pony tale,or use other scarves to give this effect, but then are we only choosing from the Hadits and form the Quran what make us happy or what we like?, then, what is the difference between a Muslim and a Non-Muslim?.
There are a lot of thins that we can use to make our Hijab pretty without broke the "Rules", is always recommendable to use a Full Under Scarf which will cover all your head, neck and don't forget the ears, with the use of the full under scarf you have many options to stylish your Hijab.
This is the most simple and beautiful style, with only a full under scarf and an square or an oblong scarf.
Some times due to the shape of our head we kind of look "Strange" with the Hijab, but this could be because we are wearing a style not suitable for us, if you have long hair make a pony tale in the low part of your head and neck, not in the middle of the back of your head, this will give you volume and prevents you to have this hump of camel, also if you head shape is not circle enough and it looks like some one has shaved the half of your back head, then use an other hijab under it, in the classic style, and above it use the hijab you want for that day, if you are concerned about the hot weather, use always natural fabrics like cotton as background.
The use of "Bandanas" are an other option to stylish your hijab, you can also combine more than one color.
